This tiny village, situated along Highway 9 in the grain-rich prairies of Alberta’s Special Areas, is steeped in the past. Its main street features historic buildings dating back to 1918, and the cowboy and settler way of life is well preserved.



Key Community Features

Cereal Pioneer Museum – Located in a renovated rail station, the museum recreates the area’s settlement in the early 1900s, with period buildings, artifacts and memorabilia. Breast Cancer Awareness Street – Local summer students painted pink lines and a breast cancer awareness ribbon on a village street.
