This public campground is located in Woolford Provincial Park, about an hour’s drive from Lethbridge. Here you’ll find nearly 20 unserviced campsites, as well as pit toilets, water pumps, fire pits, and a playground, but note that visitors must bring their own firewood and drinking water. Because of its close proximity to the St. Mary River, the campground is an ideal homebase for paddlers looking to canoe or kayak. The campground is open from May until mid-October. UPDATE: Alberta Parks is continually monitoring operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please visit the website for the most up-to-date information on facility closures, service changes, programming updates and safety measures.
