Little Bow Provincial Park
You’ll find Little Bow Provincial Park near the town of Vulcan, along the northwestern shore of the Travers Reservoir. The park is a popular beach destination since there are sandy beaches on the shores of both the Travers and Little Bow Reservoirs. Surrounded by rolling hills and populated with stands of poplar trees, the park is a scenic destination for camping and picnicking, as well as swimming and water sports. The breeze coming off the Travers Reservoir is ideal for both sailing and windsurfing, but people also visit the park for fishing, water-skiing, and canoeing. UPDATE: Alberta Parks is continually monitoring operations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
