Carbon Farmers' Exchange Museum

This century-old heritage building is full of antique artifacts, and reflects life during a past boom - when coal miners sought fortunes and gentlemen became farmers. Step outside the back door to enjoy the Historical, Herbal Garden. The shaded patio invites you to stop and enjoy the quiet of a hot summer day. While you are there, contemplate the perfect sculpture that begs to be erected. The attendant will be happy to record your idea. Wander upstairs to the Prickly Pear Gallery to view the Scenes of the Carbon Murders Mystery. If stairs prove difficult, we have a lift.
